Who Are We
Wander and Rest Life is a community-led charity for the people most wellness spaces forget—those living with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and fatigue, especially disabled parents raising neurodivergent children.
Rooted in lived experience, we create low-energy-friendly resources that truly work for bodies that can’t just “push through.” From rest rituals and tailored meal plans to sensory-friendly guides, benefit support, and honest blogs, we meet you where you are.
We also spotlight small businesses run by people with chronic illness and celebrate practitioners making wellness more accessible to everyone.
This isn’t just a charity—it’s a community. A place where rest is radical, your pace is enough, and you are never alone.
You are not lazy. You are not broken. You are not alone.
What We Do & Who We Work With
At Wander and Rest Life, we provide practical, low-energy-friendly resources for people living with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, fatigue, and those supporting neurodivergent children. From rest rituals and tailored meal plans to sensory-friendly guides and honest blogs, we meet you where you are.
We also partner with local and community initiatives to bring wellness into the wider world—sharing rest-friendly resources at the Canalside Festival, supporting families through Westminster’s community hubs, and collaborating with organisations that make wellness accessible to everyone.
” TOGETHER, WE’VE MADE A DIFFERENCE.”
Our Journey So Far
What began as one person’s search for rest-friendly living has grown into a supportive movement for the overlooked—spoonies, sensory-sensitive souls, burnt-out caregivers, and slow-living entrepreneurs. Along the way, we’ve shared rest-friendly wellness at the Canalside Festival and supported local families through Westminster’s community hubs, building connections in one of the UK’s busiest boroughs. What started small has grown into a network where rest is valued, community matters, and wellness is accessible to everyone.

Chronic Pain & Fatigue Facts
Chronic pain and fatigue are complex and often misunderstood experiences that touch millions of lives across the UK. These quick facts offer a glimpse into what living with conditions like fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other long-term pain disorders can feel like — and remind us why support, community, and compassion matter so much.
1. Chronic pain and fatigue affect around 1 in 5 people in the UK, with fibromyalgia alone impacting roughly 2.5 million people.
2.These conditions are among the most common long-term health challenges, yet they often go undiagnosed or misunderstood for years.
3. Community, understanding, and practical resources can make a real difference — from tailored rest rituals to sensory-friendly guides and supportive networks.
4. Symptoms can include widespread pain, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, and emotional distress — chronic pain affects the whole body, not just isolated areas.
5. While some conditions like fibromyalgia are more common in women, chronic pain affects people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds, including parents raising neurodivergent children.
6. Many people with chronic fatigue or pain experience difficulty maintaining full-time work or daily routines, highlighting the importance of flexible, low-energy-friendly support.
